Now more than ever, children and adolescents are experiencing mental health challenges. According to UNICEF, at least 40% of young people (10-19) are diagnosed with anxiety and depression. In addition, suicide is the 4th leading cause of death amongst this age group. However, only 1/3 of funding for mental health research is targeted toward children and adolescents. How is that possible? It is imperative that we invest in a brighter, healthier, and safer future for our youth.
