Endowment Funds & Planned Giving
Leave a lasting legacy through an endowed gift.
The Rumson Country Day School's Endowment Fund can be compared to an individual's savings account and investments. Endowed gifts provide a reliable source of income that allows the School to continue investing in the excellence of its students, faculty, programming, and historic campus. It is a financial reserve that puts the School in a position to seize opportunities such as investing in technology, launching new programs, or improving facilities. Above all, perhaps, endowment means long-term security, protecting the School's quality if the economy hits a rough spot or if enrollment temporarily declines.

“James and I have watched our girls truly blossom throughout their years at RCDS, and we feel fortunate to have found a school built on a mission and pillars that are in line with our family’s values. Since the school’s inception, almost a century ago, philanthropy and volunteerism have supported the growth of the school to the place it is today. Past families have made an investment in our children. Our family alike feels it is our responsibility to “pay it forward” to future generations of children so that they too can spend their school years in a place that not only sparks intellectual creativity and critical thinking, but teaches them the importance of hard work, personal responsibility, kindness and respect.”Kristen Masserio

“I have included RCDS in my personal estate plans. I chose to make a bequest because it was a very comfortable way for me to contribute. I am a bit of a worrier about money and felt that this method of giving would protect my financial security during my lifetime and still allow me to make a significant gift to the school I love so much.”Suzy Post
