Matching Gifts

Want to double the impact of your gift? Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Check with your employer to see if they match charitable giving. If your company does, please request a matching gift form from your employer’s human resources department, and send it completed and signed with your gift - we will do the rest!

Gifts of Securities

Many donors choose to make current gifts in the form of common stock or other securities, which may have added benefits for the donor, including an income tax charitable deduction and a capital gains tax savings. You can make a gift of securities to RCDS through electronic transfer. Notify your broker that you wish to make a gift of securities to The Rumson Country Day School. After authorizing the transfer, instruct your broker to contact our Advancement Office advancement@rcds.org or 732-842-0527 ext. 1152 to receive complete transfer instructions.

Please note that electronic transfers do not include donor identification information. In order to credit your gift properly, we must know your name, the name of the stock, number of shares, and date of transfer. The Rumson Country Day School will only sell the stock once we receive the gift and receive the supplemental information identifying the donor.
