The Bergeron Family will generously match up to $20,000 in support of the RCDS library in memory of beloved RCDS teacher Jeanne Bergeron.
Why Support the RCDS Library's Next Chapter?
By supporting the RCDS Library Fund you are helping to provide new books, updated resources, and technology needed to bring the library up to 21st century standards and serve the needs of the entire RCDS community. By providing greater access to an array of well-managed resources, the school library will become the heart of the RCDS campus – a place to encourage students, educators, and families to become lifelong learners and improve all students’ opportunities for success.
"Studies have shown if you have a library at the heart of your campus, it boosts not only test scores but student engagement. There’s an excitement when our kids come in here that I think can’t be replicated. When the library becomes the heart of campus - whether it’s a place for a nursery student to choose their next great read, or where Lower School students learn how to navigate online literacy, or a quiet place for Upper School students to get help with a research project - it sets our students up for success."
