The Rumson Country Day School curriculum is designed to combine challenging academics, highly developed teaching methods and varied assessment. Grounded in the fundamentals of reading, writing, math, science, history and world language, it is enriched with a broad and varied program for the arts, athletics, community service and co-curricular activities. Our teachers are well-educated, caring, and experienced; classes are small; and our school is a comfortable and exciting place to learn and grow.

Our student body is divided into three distinct groups: The Early Childhood Center (Nursery–Pre-K), The Lower School [Beginners (Kindergartners) –4th Grade] and The Upper School (5th Grade–8th Grade) where children will establish the skills and enthusiasm for learning that will stay with them for a lifetime.
