Faculty Features Tom Scott, Head of The History Department As you begin your 31st year of teaching at RCDS, how many students have you seen graduate? I have seen well over 1,000 students. I think RCDS has played a big part in the success of these kids and I hope that I may have had some small small part in it too. You have probably seen it all, but are there times that students genuinely surprised you? I am always amazed at where these kids end up. The quiet, unassuming ones who go on to be a clerk for a Supreme Court Justice, or a published author, and even one who came back to RCDS to teach and who I have the honor of mentoring! Read More "Life After RCDS" - Former Rumson Country Day Librarian, Patti (Campo) Reynolds When did you work at The Rumson Country Day School and what was your job? I worked at RCDS for 14 years as the school librarian – my name at the time was Patti Campo. What have you been doing since leaving RCDS? I won’t give you my whole resume but I came down to Florida in 1995 after working at the NYU Medical School Library. I have been working at Sarasota Memorial Hospital since 2000 and am the current Director of the Bishopric Medical Library. How is the rest of your family these days? My older son, Ben CAMPO '82, is currently a lawyer at Douglas, McDaniel, Campo & Schools in Westbrook, Maine. He is married to Andrea with two daughters - Clarissa (13) and Daphne (9). My second son, Patrick CAMPO '85, is married and living in Cos Cob, Connecticut. Patrick and his wife, Colleen, have six-year old twins named Grady and Summer. He works for Titan Advisors , an asset management firm focused on hedge funds. Have you kept in touch with RCDS over the years? I had a nice long chat with Allison Isherwood last spring. It is nice to hear about all the news of RCDS. It was such an important part of our lives. Both of the boys keep in touch with friends from the school as well. RCDS thanks Patti Reynolds for this update and hopes other former faculty members and parents of alumni will likewise reconnect and bring the school up-to-date on their family's happenings!
