On Monday, February 24th, The Rumson Country Day School will welcome Dr. Aliza Pressman, for a discussion that cuts through the parenting information overload that is paralyzing modern parents with a simple, science-backed framework for raising good humans.
Pressman’s simple approach cultivates confidence, so parents can learn how to trust their own instincts and abilities. A frequent guest on national television, speaker at academic conferences, and contributing expert to news media, Dr. Pressman is a trusted thought leader on modern parenting and child development. Now, with THE 5 PRINCIPLES OF PARENTING, she gives parents a practical and reassuring guide for how to raise good humans and reclaim joy.
Dr. Aliza Pressman is a developmental psychologist with nearly two decades of experience working with families and the health care providers who care for them. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Behavioral Health Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital where she is co-founding director of The Mount Sinai Parenting Center. Aliza is also the host of the award-winning podcast, Raising Good Humans, which has nearly 20 millions downloads.
