Honor Individuality, Build Community
At RCDS, we value each student as a unique individual. Our small class sizes create an inclusive learning environment in which teachers can provide differentiated instruction for all their students. Teachers are able to connect with students on a personal level to form long-lasting authentic relationships that foster the family culture unique to the RCDS experience.

Traditional Education, Innovative Teaching
RCDS teachers are specialists in early childhood, elementary and middle school education. They use a blend of traditional and modern approaches to help children progress academically, socially and emotionally throughout their time at RCDS. We integrate the use of technology and a variety of STEAM-based challenges into the classroom to fully engage students and promote critical thinking, problem solving and resourcefulness.

Within the Curriculum, Beyond the Classroom
RCDS's curriculum is designed to combine challenging academics, highly developed teaching methods and varied assessment. Grounded in the fundamentals of reading, writing, math, science, history and world language, the curriculum is supplemented by robust co-curricular programs for the arts, athletics and community service. Numerous field trips provide additional hands-on, experiential learning opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of the material and to make learning fun!
